(1) Modern&Casual: My friend’s mom bought me my very own set of pearls for my 18th birthday - she even sat down and helped me string them properly. Sadly - the clasp fell off a while ago and so they have been sitting abandoned in a jar. Real pearls! Abandoned! It wasn’t right. I used some wire today and some ribbon to turn them into a more wearable piece - its casual and a bit more modern.
(2) Upcycled Headband: More of my cotton tshirt yarn that I love. There are tutorials everywhere about how to cut shirts in a way that makes one continuous strand of “yarn”. I crocheted a few chains and braided them together to make this stretchy headband.
(3) Hexnut: They are all the rage these days on Pinterest and craft blogs everywhere. I found my very own little gold hexnuts at Home Depot today and crafted this bracelet that is upcycled out of string and fabric from an old skirt.
